Subj : Just a CP test To : Gleb Hlebov From : Michiel van der Vlist Date : Wed Mar 06 2024 09:26:09 Hello Gleb, On Wednesday March 06 2024 11:59, you wrote to Bjoern Wiberg: BW>> Bjoern GH> I tried cp850 -> cp866 conversion in GED and it started to show "oe" GH> :-) It's kinda alright, isn't it? Not quit. In German there is a transliteration to replace the 'รถ' (o diareresis) with 'oe'. But that only works in German. In Dutch and Scandinavian the 'oe' is already "taken" for another vowel. Sorry mate, to have both Cyrillic and Latin with diareses in one and the same message you need UTF-8. ;-) Cheers, Michiel --- GoldED+/W32-MSVC 1.1.5-b20170303 * Origin: Meten is weten, testen is verpesten (2:280/5555) .
