I don't remember seeing results specific to that, but I can  
imagine the challenges it would pose when the body of a message  
contains the odd = here and there and not knowing whether it's  
for decoration, spacing, or formatting.

Maybe the parsing function can be limited to work on the first  
few lines of an incoming message only with the idea that it  
would be intented for a header or title.

There are probably more important things to do (like  
documenting the tgBBS) before adding new things!  :D
