IIUC, for some echos that are now available through the tg-BBS, there were phases where the BBS was configured to post a greeting message upon joining the group (and for some time a farewell message upon leaving). I was inspecting my correspondence in CHAT from last month and apparently it was too late to see that in action. Also noticing the name change from "tg2fido gate" to "tg BBS" between 0.6.1 and 0.6.2.
