No, it deletes all netmail, echomail and file echos for the specified link. You may read the full description by running

perldoc rmLinkMail

To remove the link from echo- and fileareas you may run

hpt afix link_address '-*'
htick ffix link_address '-*'

After that you may use rmLinkMail.
