I'm sorry to say that after some time that I'm back in fido I've found
the same situation described by Nick.

When I left fidonet the Echo Areas were light years beyond newsgroups,
quality messages and low noise thanks to the moderators and sysops that
keep the echoes clean (at least in Italy).

Now I'm really trying to get the former italian quality sysops (the ones
that made fidonet great in italy in the past) to back in fidonet and
after them the new ones, but the former sysops like me remember another
fidonet, a clean place where rules are respected, where trolls were
kicked out where there was now wars between zones and so on.

BTW I'm a little downhearted. :(
