Our youngest JK> grandson is 10.. prime-cold-flu-age Our oldest is 9, and youngest is 6. While they do bring home some sniffles, coughs, fevers, etc.. We've always let them play in the dirt (so to speak, ie: build up their immune systems, not wiping them down with baby wipes after everything they touch, etc), so it doesn't get all that bad around here. That's another thing I've noticed. Some parents like to always keep their kid(s) super clean, which doesn't seem to allow them to become immune to anything.
