These two mutts (literally ) have been our companions since we moved from Louisville, KY to Windsor, NY about 15+ years ago. Indy died this week from cancer. We'd been told about the cancer earlier this year by our vet. Indy was a healty guy for most of his life even though he was a bit funny looking.. When he was a pup his paws were huge, making me think he was going to be a bruiser when he reached "dog-adulthood" ... But his trunk didn't "match" the length of his legs - he was much shorter than a full-breed Yellow Lab adding to his comical appearence :) That didn't stop him from chasing rabbits.. he loved to deposit their dead carcases in my living room (eek)). He also loved to torment my cats as any good dog would. He made sure none of the cats here EVER got near his food dish - but that's because it was HIS food. _Our_ dinner plates however were fair game if we looked away from our plates for even a moment. I can't remember how many times he stole food off my dish, which if you know Labs, you know that is truly a lab trait. I miss him terribly but I am so glad he is not suffering anymore. I know the pain he suffered must have been so bad. I'll have to come up with a better name than that :) FIDOGAZETTE Vol 15 No 09 Page 2 May 26, 2021 ----------------------------------------------------------------- --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-5 * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) .
