    I was chatting with one of my college friends who lives in
    Manhatten this week and I asked her how things were going
    there...  Just fine was her reply, though she said she was
    running out of ideas of what to make to eat...  I know what that
    can be like when resources are somewhat limited...  I SURE
    remember what it was like trying to come up with dinners years
    ago when Ron and I and "the kids" were trying to survive what
    was now and again a rough time (Ron was out of work for a time,
    later so was I, and we had kids, dogs, cats, etc.).  I can only
    imagine what it might be like for everyone depending on where
    you live, and whether your grocery store is able to keep a
    decent inventory.

    I asked her if she'd like some of my recipes for things like
    meatballs and spaghetti, or clam sauce and Linguine.. and she
    said Yes, please :)

    So I sent her my recipe for Clam Sauce and Linguine.  She was
    very happy with that recipe because it can be prepared two
    different ways.  I hope this recipe helps some of you as well.
