  I loved the original one...Boris Karloff was a great grinch. :)

  The dachshund my late wife and I had, I created a bit of a "jingle"
for him...

  "You're a mean one, Mister Fritz. You really are a dog. You like salt
on your green beans; you're a dachshund, oh so mean, Mister Fritz!!" <G>

  You do NOT want to give dogs chocolate, especially bakers chocolate,
as it will kill them. But, you CAN give them things like green beans and
carrots.

  Well, Janice put some green beans in a dish for him. He walked up to
them, sniffed them, turned up his nose, and walked off.

  She lamented "Oh, crap!! I forgot to salt them!!"

  Stunned, I asked "What??!! Does he want a bottle of red wine to go
with his beans??!!"...and she growled "He ain't gettin' none of my
Jamaica White Rum". <G>
