And more users switch off their routers and dust off their modems. With cheap second hand modems aplenty and landlines generally sitting unused, I imagine for some sysops this wouldn't be such a major task/outlay. But would there be the users who would call? I think there's a bit of a network effect problem going on here...sysops don't feel there's people that still want to use dial-up, and users don't bother with modems because so few boards offer a number to call. Or probably more realistically, very few people even care. Personally, I'm tempted to start a new dial-up only BBS.
