CL is I'm not sure if I mentioned, but Canada is ruled by three major ISP monoplies; Bell, Rogers and Shaw. All three do not give two shits about rural customers and have their hands in the pockets of the government. It does not matter if you go with a smaller ISP; in the end, the lines and uplink are eventually leased from the big three. Unless you have a business-grade connection, you are at the mercy of whenever they feel like fixing whatever line problems you have.
