What is meant by pressure point injections?  I have gotten steroid
injections, guided to the spot by xray.  That doctor told me that at my
age, there was not really any limit to how many I could have -- but that
for younger people (55 or so?) they would limit the number and/or
frequency of injections.

I can say that they gave me very good temporary relief -- two to three
months, but eventually the back pain in lower back returned, albeit
never so bad that it was not manageable.
