  This time of year, D.I.E.T. stands for "Did I Eat That??" <G>.

  Santa didn't come to my place. He reportedly was going to "save the
best for last". But, I sent him a card that said "Define Naughty". He
had heard that "I had been good", but then he saw that card, had a heart
attack, and died laughing. :P

  I spent Christmas Eve in the Emergency Room. My 92 year old Mom had
tried to walk from a wheelchair (her dementia made her forget her leg
muscles have atrophied), and she went down. She cut her lip, and got
several lacerations. The nursing home called the ambulance, and had her
taken to a Little Rock Hospital Emergency Room, to be sure she didn't
break any bones or fracture her skull (both were negative). Then, I went
over there on Christmas Day, and was there yesterday as well. I thought
I'd have to take her a charger for her flip-phone, but it turned out the
charger was still plugged into the wall outlet.

  It's about an hour drive each way, and I can't do it more than twice a
week, as it devours the gasoline in the car.
