A customer asked him >>>> for a Big Mac and he gave him a bit of paper with >>>> FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF written on it. >>> An epic sandwich fail?? :P >> Would seem so :) > I finally had ENOUGH of McDonald's. After multiple experiences, at > several McDonald's of: > A) Taking over 30 minutes to get ones order > B) A major effort to get a refund > C) Managers and employees talking on their cellphones, instead of taking > care of customers > D) Difficulty working with the kiosks (combination of employees wanting > $15 an hour, and corporate greed) > E) More often than not, they never got the order right. > F) The menu board changed to lunch at 10:30 daily, but there was NO SIGN > indicating that "lunch wasn't served until 11am on weekends". I don't think I've been to MickeyD's in years... I did however recently get this monster order of KFC Chicken Lol...with all the works... we were coming back from Binghamton to home in Ithaca - which is about an hour trip...we both had drs' app't with our family doc, for 'the yearly rip off med. exam' ...and I was starving - we hadn't eaten all day and by the time the appt's were done, it was after 4:30pm. Talk about slow service though.. our appt's were for 2:45 and 3:00 pm (just enough time for the doc to see us and exclaim, "you are healthy "). When he took so long to see us, we had just said to each other, "If he's not in here in like 5 minutes, we'll just leave...". Lucky for him he -just- made in the examing room with moments to spare. Ridiculous over booking... > I saw a post on Facebook this morning, with Ronald McDonald on the > phone, noting "Sorry, Billy. We had to fire you...because you got a > customers order right...we don't do that around here". That hit the nail > on the head!! haha :) > I remember from 40 years ago when I worked at area Burger > King restaurants, that a promotional video for the employees for this > meal campaign noted "We need to stress that 'Why should you visit a > place whose mascot is a CLOWN, and you are treated like such...when you > can come here, and be treated like a KING". Plus, at Burger King, the > burgers are flame broiled, and not swimming in grease. Another one we don't normally go to.. I guess I'm always afraid of where these companies get their beef.. notice I don't care about the chicken (or that day at least I didn't haha). [...] > We need to catheterize this thread. Oof.. can't change the colors, or just too lazy? :) I have the bbs set to black background with gray text in messages... works for me :) Take care, Janis --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-3 * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) .
