In "Molly Moon Stops the World", by Georgia Byng, I read this:

one other big reason too.

So we have:
"to talk hypnotism with her"
"to talk about hypnotism with her"
"to talk of hypnotism with her"

The first variant I see for the first time. Is there something particular about 
it, comparing with the other variants?
