At a KGB meeting:
"Well, the operation went smoothly, although there is an unpleasant 
small detail."
"Report it in detail."
"We started to train this agent a year ago. Allegedly, a young man 
becomes an heir by will, in the US. We sent there 500 thousand dollars, 
via a Swiss bank. The agent spent several months getting an American 
visa, as a common person. He stood in queues for hours, collected piles 
of references and permissions; he stopped his membership of Komsomol. 
When he got his visa, he spent a month buying the ticket. Yesterday, he 
flew to the US."
"But what is an unpleasant detail?"
"When he was raising up the boarding bridge he turned back and waved his 
hand in a somewhat strange way."
