I've often thought it would be nice to visit my correspondents from Russia & elsewhere in person, but for various reasons the chances are slim to zilch. OTOH... one of the things many of us have learned from COVID-19 is how to maintain contact with our nearest & dearest via Skype (or Zoom or whatever) when we can't go out visiting the way we used to.
