It seems such a situation is practically in any sport. People may admire at a 
little smart gymnast, but if she looses her form because of getting a heavy 
trauma she becomes unwanted in her team. Often rivalry inside the team is 
bigger and merciless than during competitions.

If the matter is hidden inside the club, why they do their protest during the 
American anthem?
