i have received it...

IIUC, to update, i need

 1. to send in a MOD-UPD with the FROM as ben and myself listed as
    COMOD1 using the existing password?

then

 2. when i see the notification that i'm listed as COMOD, send in
    another MOD-UPD with me listed as MOD using my standard FROM
    and possibly changing the password using the proper format
    for that?

is this the correct two-step dance?
