It's possible that the Firefox "ask" setting for page saves and/or downloads might affect how your bookmark saving happens. I'd generally save them among my data on my D: partition (probably in D:\backups\Firefox or something like that), but it's really up to you where you save them. -- J. P. Gilliver.
