Basically, although Firefox (and other browsers) make your bookmarks _look_ like folders (by using the same icons), they aren't really: they're just inside Firefox. I would save your bookmarks, now you've got them back, from time to time; Firefox gives you two options of how - in its own format, or as an HTML file. The HTML file is easier to work with (including from other browsers), though I think can't easily be loaded back into Firefox retaining all the structure, which its own format can. -- J. P. Gilliver.
