As far as I understand, they are always internal modems anyhow, and I will never use another internal modem. I had far too many problems with them in the past. Also, I do have a very basic install of an old 2009 version of PcLinux, which is the only Linux I have ever liked. It's almost like Win98. (After 2009, they made it bloated and very slow).
