A reviewer once said that the T410/420 were the last Thinkpads that
felt like a desktop. The build quality, the matte screen, keyboard
layout and full keyboard travel went away in later models.

For me, the keyboard layout, the trackpoint and the matte screen are
all dialed into my memory; I've used T series thinkpads since my T42
in 2004, which I still have and use occasionally.
