The guy who wrote it, Jim Webb, lived in Canada. The latest >version I could find was 1.4. As I continued my search I found several other >files from Lounge Software had been released as free. But not Meldon. On one >of the local BBS's I found version 1.5, the registration information was for a >guy in New Zealand, Glenn Sutton from BCSoftware. Finally, to add spice to he >search, Sunrise Door Software has it as a WINServer game. I had a couple of users who used to play Meldon and I wanted to register it. When Al from Sunrise had one of his registration specials, I registered all of the DOS games he had. Al took over the Lounge doors when Jim stopped developing them, but apparently Al retired the DOS version of Meldon so I didn't get a key for that one. >The game does have >nice graphics, but it seems to be a LORD clone so far. The game is similar to LORD in that it is an RPG that seems to mimic a similar point in time (when warriors had swords but not guns), but the gameplay is different. The gameplay is more like Quest for Nora or Legends of Ole. > Anyone know where a > complete release of Lounge Softare keys can be found? I am also curious.
