FPC is a binary compiler - and not a framework... where MPC is like .net ut 
developed by a much smaller company. MPC also leverages some design concepts 
from Java too. With FPC, write once, compile anywhere... with FPC, write once, 
run anywhere. My framework allows me to develop desktop apps, MVVM desktop 
apps, console apps, web RIA, and standalone server - running the same source 
(compiled or interpreted on every platform I support/host).
