Are there any very knowledgeable Solar Realms Elete players out there?

I'm considering starting a project to write an Mystic MPL clone of SRE.  Since
the code to SRE was lost, I was thinking of reverse engineering it.  I've
done similar projects with Virtual Sysop III and Space Dynasty Elete, so I
figured it wouldn't be too far a stretch to recreate a lost classic.  The
only problem is I do not have an in-depth knowledge of the game.  That is why
I'm looking for outside help from somebody who is more knowledgeable.
