Subj : Dumping dogs To : ALL From : BOB ACKLEY Date : Sat Aug 25 2018 10:01:56 On Aug 6 I returned home to find a starving dog eating a dead bird that had been lying in my driveway for a couple of days. She'd obviously just had a litter of puppies. I fed her and set up a feeding station for her on my driveway. After about a week of hunting I found her den and brought her and her five puppies down to my place. She'd been walking about a mile each way to get to my feeding station. She's been at my place almost 2 weeks and, while she's still thin, isn't nearly as gaunt as she was when I first saw her. She's eating two dishes of dog food and about a gallon of water a day. The puppies appear to be fine. Mama is a bit smaller than a Labrador, with floppy ears like a beagle or basset. She's medium brown with a white chest and belly, white feet and tip of her tail and a white spot on her muzzle between her eyes --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5 * Origin: Fido Since 1991 | QWK by Web | BBS.DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
