ML> how did i ""capture"" them?? as a fido mail distributor, i ML> run a tool called PKTDATE which sidelines PKT files with ML> bad dates in them but this tool also corrects those dates ML> and passes the messages on... currently i have this tool ML> running to catch dates that are out by more than 2 years ML> either way... plus or minus... ML> i can make these PKTs available to you if you like so you ML> can see the actual dates in the raw PKTs as they arrived ML> here on my system if you like... LIST.COM shows them easily ML> as will any other tool that shows the raw binary data ML> contained in a file... Ok, that might well help. ML> the main question is what reader/editor are you using for ML> your offline activities because all of the messages in ML> question show Silver Xpress in the tearline but there's no ML> indication of whether this is the SX door or the SX ML> reader/editor that is used... The messages do not show up in the packets I download from Docsplace. I do archive all the packets that apply to me in any way, and I do not find that message in the Debate echo. However, they do show up on fido.ozzmossis.com, and there are msgs from Earl Croasmun and Lee Lafaso also with the messed up dates. Neither of them post from Docsplace. So that suggests it's happening outside of Docsplace. Oh, I am using the silverxpress reader. Can you please send that by email? Thanks.
