Subj : Trayvon Martin To : ROSS CASSELL From : BOB KLAHN Date : Tue Aug 06 2013 11:27:40 RC> 28 Jul 13 11:44, you wrote to me: RC>>> Zimmerman was tried and convicted by the press before the RC>>> real trial began. BK>> As compared to his being exonerated by politicians and his BK>> father's buddies before the investigation was completed. RC> Actually it was determined by the local police and RC> prosecutor that there wasnt enough evidence.. One of the officers on the scene, Ayala, wrote it up as manslaughter, as did the original investigating detective. Again, the prosecutor had no business shutting down the investigation that soon. However, the prosecutor is an elected office. RC> The trial that did result bears this out too! The trial evidence did not. At least one juror said she thought he was guilty, but the judge's instructions left them no choice but to vote not-guilty. The prosecution was so inept it appears they wanted to lose. RC>>> There are also cases involving role reversals that didnt RC>>> gain the media monsters attention. Two black teenagers BK>> IOW, excuse one because another happened. What does media BK>> attention matter? The only reason Martin got media attention was BK>> Zimmerman was let go, without even an attempt to bring it to BK>> trial, despite two cops writing it up as manslaughter. RC> Yes a master consopiracy, one is a racist if they are white. How does Zimmerman's family connections amount to an accusation of racism? BK>> How much do you know about the white man in Toledo they just BK>> arrested in the disappearance of a young white child? The child BK>> is believed to be dead, and at the least they do have a good BK>> child endangerment charge against the man and the girl's mother. RC> Here is the appearance I see given... What does that have to do with what I asked? RC> Murder Victims are assigned points depending on their race RC> and the race of their assailant.. Scale 1 to 10 RC> Victim Race Assailant Race Points RC> =========== ============== ====== RC> Black White 10 RC> Black Black 3 RC> White White 2 RC> White Black 1 RC> Now this chart is over the top, but I am speaking of how RC> things *seem* to me. That is about the point value of getting away with a Stand Your Ground Defense in Florida, except for the spread being too wide. Other than that, it has no point in this discussion. RC> You are so full of white guilt that you refuse to see that What does that have to do with this discussion? RC> a demographic that is only 15% of the total population is RC> responsible for 50% of the total mursers... That of same What does that have to do with this discussion? RC> demographic 85% of all crimes committed against them are RC> done by others of same demographic. Same point applies to white people, so what? What does this have to do with this discussion? RC> WE dont see any bitching there... RC> What really irks me is the deaths of those black teens in RC> Chicago somehow doesnt rise to the same level of tragic of RC> the Martin case. That irks black people as well, what does that have to do with this discussion? Black people have been complaining about the lack of attention to the killings of young blacks for years. RC>>> A black man part of a neighborhood watch program shoots and RC>>> kills a white assailant, he was tried and acquitted.. BK>> Yes, if he was truly an assailant. RC> Zimmerman shouldnt have been there, Martin didnt have to RC> turn and attack.. There is no evidence Martin turned and attacked. RC>>> The Justice system only works when the verdict/decision RC>>> goes our way!!! BK>> How about the case gets investigated deeply? How about the BK>> father's status as a retired judge, and the mother's position as BK>> a court clerk, are not a consideration? How about the BK>> prosecutor's don't shut the case down when two cops have written BK>> it up as manslaughter, without further investigation? RC> In the Roderick Scott case, rolls reversed verdict went RC> same way, you like verdict... Stand Your Ground and all.. Except for the fact that very little you said stands up. Scott was arrested immediately, charged, tried for manslaughter. The teenager was committing a crime. Scott was on his own property, and did not chase the kid. Zimmerman was far from his own property, chased Martin, and Martin was not committing a crime. Zimmerman was not arrested and was not charged and was not brought to trial until the public outcry. And New York does *NOT* have a stand your ground law. Zimmerman has none of the evidence in his favor Scott did. Completely different. RC> Dont chastize Zimmerman for picking his parents, the state RC> got its day in court, the evidence was shaky... The evidence was good, the prosecution was shaky. RC> Had the original manslaughter stood, acquittal rendered, RC> you all would still be carrying on... What does that mean? RC> Look Bob, the death of anyone excepting reasonable RC> exceptions is tragic, a criminal taking the life of a RC> victim is tragic, its HATE! The race baiters better RC> recognize this. Yet you insist on comparing a case of a man who had sound and undisputed evidence in his favor, including two living witnesses who were friends of the victim, and no connections, with a man who had already provoked a response, had no witnesses to what he did, and political connections. Somehow someone stepping out his own door, seeing three people in the act of committing a crime, standing on his own property, and having two hostile witnesses still alive is not the same as someone who is no where near his home, observes someone going about his lawful business walking home, follows him, chases him, then doesn't have one single living witness to what happened. Not even close to the same. BOB KLAHN bob.klahn@sev.org http://home.toltbbs.com/bobklahn .... Can conspiracies truly be smelled?
