Subj : Recent events 2 To : ALL From : BOB KLAHN Date : Fri Jul 12 2013 01:20:26 We went to Chicago last week, to visit family. While there I encountered a woman I have known for a long time. She is now working for a school system in Alaska. While we talked she mentioned that her school district was larger than the state of Indiana, and there are no roads between the towns. The only transport is by airplane and dog sled. She doesn't do dog sled, so when she travels between schools she goes by plane. She got started on a rant about the damage being done by global warming. In spite of all the right wingers say she says the evidence is obvious to anyone who spends any time there. It's bad and getting worse. I told her she sounded like a dedicated liberal, and that set off another rant. I guess I forgot to mention, she isn't. Not even close. But even long time conservatives can learn when it's in their faces. BOB KLAHN bob.klahn@sev.org http://home.toltbbs.com/bobklahn ....
