I don't understand why you're using Preinit. You should only have INIT 
AT&C1&D2M0S0=0H0 as your init string. Whatever that "v~~~^~~~" is, it will not
be parsed. It looks familiar... something copy-n-pasted from Renegade?

The MCF keyword is the basename of the MCF file. If the file you're using is 
Othermdm.mcf then it should be MCF OTHERMDM
