We did that when my kids were kids, I was hoping they enjoyed it enough to want
to continue the tradition. It's why I did it!

I love Yahtzee! We did the boardgame thing too, it was hard to have my kids
turn off their cellphones during family night, they aced like I just did the
mst utmost evil thing in the world! They started out mad, but got into it after
time. I think it was more of a 'giving in' thing, because I wasn't gonna stop!
