Subj : Buttermilk Glaze To : All From : Ben Collver Date : Thu Jan 11 2024 13:09:38 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Buttermilk Glaze Categories: Icing Yield: 1 Batch 1 c Granulated sugar 1 tb Corn starch 1/2 ts Baking soda 1/2 c Buttermilk; well-shaken 4 tb Unsalted butter 1 tb Light corn syrup 1 ts Vanilla extract Stir together the sugar, corn starch, baking soda, buttermilk, butter, and corn syrup in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, and cook until the glaze is thick and opaque, about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
