Our local Perkin's went under several years ago, sadly. Our franchisee did outdoor (patio) even w/heaters in the winter time. And hung on. He also leased the last Denny's location (before they tore it down) and installed a Spaghetti Shop franchise. It's still under the same ownership - but it's now a "Beef O'Brady's" sports bar franchise. No one ever accused Joe Rupnik of being afraid to "take a shot". Bv)= We've still got a Perkins ... which started life in Cincinasty as "Perkins Pancake House" (pre-dating IHOP) I wish we had a Waffle House or a Toddle House.
