 And if there are jobs they will change their minds. Just read
 that NYC has the fastest growing local economy in the nation.
 Unfortunately, in this economy, that still leaves a lot of
 people out in the cold.

 SD> cost of living, taxes - and a lack of jobs.

 Gee... ya think maybe free trade ain't such a good deal after
 all?

 SD> "A lot of people are questioning the affordability of the

 SD> Institute for Public Opinion.

 It's a big city, it's on the ocean, it's going to be expensive.

 SD> An additional 38% cite climate, quality of life,
 SD> overcrowding, a desire to be closer to family, retirement
 SD> or schools.

 IOW, most things the city can't do much about.

 SD> The latest census showed New York's overall population
 SD> actually increased, though parts of upstate shed population
 SD> and jobs.

 Dang! How'd that happen?

 SD> A full 53% think the worst is yet to come for the state's
 SD> economy, while 44% say things should start improving.

 Depends. If Boehner gets his way, things are going to get worse
 for all of us.

 SD> "We have to keep jobs here and we have to develop new
 SD> jobs," he said. "And we want to start bringing back jobs
 SD> from other parts of the country.

 We have to bring jobs back from other countries!
