I cannot recall the title, but about 8 years ago I read a book by a rabinical scholar who learned ARamaic (the language spoken by JEsus et al) to be able to translate the dead sea scrolls. IN it, he states that of the four gospels JOhn's was the latest, as JOhn was the one farhtest removed from the life of JEsus of course, figures parallel to those you cited were given as well.
