Subj : Wisconsin thugs To : ALL From : BOB KLAHN Date : Tue Mar 08 2011 21:59:28 SH>>> I read today that union thugs and their democrat supporters did $7.5 SH>>> million damage to their state capitol. I cannot imagine in my RC>> wildest SH>>> imagination damaging our capitol building. I read just now that you are smearing decent union workers and their supporters. When a republican makes any such estimate just assume it's a lie. Which it is in this case. Seems even the state backed off on that when a state official responsible for building maintence pointed out that 95% of that estimate was for renovations planned before the protests took place. Then the remaining 5% shrunk to half that. That involved profession restorers who said the repairs needed were actually cleanup. Seems just touching the walls requires cleaning. They said to use a cleaner that was essentially...nail polish remover. Then the painters and stone masons chimed in. They report all that needs cleaning is some tape residue, which they do all the time. A water based cleaner takes it off easily. In the meantime about 60% of Wisconsinites support the union. That and some of the republican senators, 4 at last count, are considered in danger of bolting from Walker's program. Then don't want the disaster Walker is bringing on them. RC>> They probably rationalized that Federal Funds would pay for the damages? SH> Probably, and while Wisconsinites trash Otto's capitol, SH> this is going on in Klan's front yard... You are a nasty little boy, you know that dont' you? SH> Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), under heat for invoking Adolf SH> Hitler in talking about anti-union movements in his home SH> state and Wisconsin, has apologized for making the SH> comparison on the Senate floor. "I am passionate about It was just a bit extreme, just a bit. ... SH> And speaking of union thugs and their democrat supporters SH> trashing the capitol, I am reminded that Cigar Willy's SH> staff trashed the White House as they were leaving. Let And that never happened. As you should well know by now. It was a republican lie. SH> Republicans act like this and the New York Times would lose SH> its goddam mind. Since democrats *DON'T* act like that, it's not ok when Republicans do it.
