actually I've been the same until Barack Obama.
I voted *for* him.

I feel taken in once again :-(

Largly agreed.

IMO we need to move much of our economic dependency from defense ( offense)
related industries to civilian research and development for renewable energy 
and to find ways  to once again put the U.S at the forefront of top quality
durable goods manufacturing.
