Not only that, but the private school can more easily kick your kid out.

Here in Michigan, schools used to be funded by millages that expired.  So
schools **had** to be responsive to parents - or the millages got voted down.

Then some Leftie had the idea to change that.  Up the sales tax and fund the
schools from that.

Guess what?  The schools started giving parents the middle finger because they
weren't dependent on them anymore.
