In general, that side decides their "reality" based on what they want to be
true and without any facts/evidence.  Then they get angry when Reality doesn't
conform.

The vast majority of people in any given area simply want to be left alone to
live their lives.

It's the small minority of Elitists who want to run everyone else's lives that
causes the problem.
