Coffee drinkers can probably recall their 1st time.  Mine was as a summer high-school student (last graduating year before university) working part-time at the local post office. It was also my introduction to union rules: forced breaks! I would have rather finished sorting a pile of mail than sit idle for 30 minutes twice a day.  But I was chastised for working while the other workers were taking breaks (smoking and drinking coffee).

To fill the time, I joined the group with my first introduction to coffee. They didn't have real cream (only the powdered stuff) and only instant coffee. My mixes always turned out lumpy most of the time when using the powdered creamer. Everyone always had a laugh. I think they had bets going on when I would finally learn to make it right.
