Subj : kids bypass wifi, use cell networks To : Charles Pierson From : August Abolins Date : Mon Sep 14 2020 08:10:27 On 9/14/2020 1:00 AM, between "Charles Pierson : August Abolins": CP> There are such apps around. I can't vouch for their effectiveness. Parent's should be treating the kid's access to a phone's resources the same way a user would be managed on a bbs by a sysop. If the kid messes with the device and tries to thwart established parental controls, then "no smartphone for you!" Then if a phone is an absolute requirement for being contactable, only provide a device that is just a phone. -- --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101125 * Origin: nntp://rbb.fidonet.fi - Lake Ylo - Finland (2:221/360.0) .
