Only *very* slightly before my time (I'm 68+,) but I can truthfully say you've 
hit the nail on the head. A great compilation to say the least. MANY things 
WERE markedly better, and many were MUCH worse than now. I do miss milk in 
glass bottles and nickel Cokes.
