They closed a local park just 1/4 mile from me, due to rising floodwaters...likely from backwaters from Fourche Creek, which drains from the Arkansas River. I should be OK, though...but the Arkansas River is forecast to crest 6 feet above flood stage at Little Rock next Tuesday.
