  Darn right. I saw where President Trump had threatened to END the
"subsidy" they were getting for paying for it (although their version of
"health care" is far better than what's in place for so many), because
of the Senate's inaction. They had somehow circumvented the law saying
"government was small business". Yeah, 20,000+ employees is a "small
business"...greedy bastards.

  Then, they have the gall to take a month long recess in the
House...and would've had to do the same in the Senate, had Senator Mitch
McConnell not shortened it. But, I'll bet they'll get little done in the
Senate. Shoot, they get more recess time than I did when I was in
Elementary School.

  And, with the mid-term elections in 2018, you can bet that they will
DEMAND a full month off. In the interim, I hope their constituents make
their ears burn so bad, that it sets them on fire. If the phrase "Liar,
Liar, Pants On Fire" was literal, The Great Chicago Fire of 1871, would
pale by comparison to the conflagration in Washington, DC.

  But, if the government ends up shutting down on October 1, because of
Congress not passing a budget...never mind a continuing resolution (kick
the can down the road), I'd say that the Republicans can kiss their
majorities in the House and Senate "good-bye". I saw a story on the
"health care plan", where one Senator said "if we don't get this right,
we should be politically horsewhipped"....flogging seems more like it.
