Hope you find it as enjoyable as you did back then. The first machine I called a BBS on was a 8088 XT clone with a 2400 baud modem that was usually more reliable at 1200. That was also the first machine I ever hosted a BBS on. I still have that BBS online, but it is no longer on the XT. Before that, I had (still do) a TI 99 4A. It never had a modem. :) >------------------------------------- So far I have found it very enjoyable. I'm honestly still so shocked, and excited, at how many still are online! It really helps justify the cost of the WiModem232 for the Mac. Other than using it for BBSing, I set up a PPP server on my Raspberry Pi that the WiModem232 can dial up to, to give the Mac a true Internet connection, but really, the BBSing part is more fun. :) -Josh ------- This copy of Freddie 1.0 is being evaluated. --- SBBSecho 3.09-Linux * Origin: The Wastelands BBS 1:218/601 (1:218/601) .
