Welcome back to BBSing. Hope you find it as enjoyable as you did back then. The first machine I called a BBS on was a 8088 XT clone with a 2400 baud modem that was usually more reliable at 1200. That was also the first machine I ever hosted a BBS on. I still have that BBS online, but it is no longer on the XT. Before that, I had (still do) a TI 99 4A.
