at this day in time, it should be really easy to get echos carried on the 
backbone... the main thing is to register it in the echolist and then post that 
ACK in the backbone echo requesting carriage...

CBM is already carried... you should, as a gating system, check to see if what 
you carry is already listed before requesting carriage... carrying what is not 
listed is OK as long as you don't send it to the BB without requesting 
access... most gated groups carry a "[GNG]" flag... it would be great if all of 
them did that were news groups and gated to fidonet...
