But, at the time, it did not offer Debit payments. Also, the overall per-transaction fees were at least double for what I was paying using the traditional hardwired terminal. Also, there was no backup method to conduct a transaction should the internet go down. The traditional terminals offer dialup as a fallback - and THAT has come in handy numerous times. It does seem costly to pay for a tradition POTS phone line (business rate = $80/mo) ...just to accomodate a dialup fallback for the terminal. If I truly wanted to reduce those expenses, then I should switch to pure VOIP for my phone system, and use the Square - and hope that all transactions will succeed. But.. I'll stick with the traditional method for now, despite paying a monthly fee for the terminal itself. :( Oh.. another way people can pay me is by buying a gift certificate online via https://Anycard.ca/store/ashlies, and the funds end up in my bank in 2 or 3 days. The service takes a 10% cut though. :( -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.48 * Origin: Mobile? Join CHAT here: https://tinyurl.com/y5k7tsla (1:153/757.21) .
