For now, I can use my NNTP setup from another PC (which I am obviously doing now). However, it's not a portable PC. But if there was a way to recall my login credentials, I could then setup up Thunderbird (TB) and NNTP easier on an alternate laptop. CP> I don't think that's going to change real soon. TB is configured to "always request authentication", but there is no local file that I can access to decode what the pw is. With Veleno BBS (the webpoint solution) the credentials are saved in Firefox's "Saved passwords".
